Brothers & sisters of Local 2323, like many I am directly affected by the implementation of GHO days.   Just like those that signed the disastrous 2016 contract, we have hurt our ability to bargain/negotiate what is in the best interest of our membership as well as the company.  

We gave up the ability to be a true partner in process just for a few days off.  

Our predecessors gave up our ability to truly have negotiating power to become a rubber stamp on every bid.

It's not just about bidding; it's about fairness, equality, and transparency in the bidding process.

At a pervious union meeting I asked the president of local 2323 to table this issue so we can vote as a body.  He did not.  He is also a beneficiary of these GHO days. 

The only way I can get this vote to happen so we can get rid of this unfair, disastrous GHO days is to ask for your assistance by signing this petition.  

In a union meeting he said he would have the vote scheduled if I can show that I have support from the membership.
