Elevate the Boy Child: A Global Call for Equal Attention, Protection And Empowerment

Elevate the Boy Child: A Global Call for Equal Attention, Protection And Empowerment
The Issue
Petition Summary:
We, The Boys Code Uplifting Program, alongside our supporters and global partners, call upon international bodies, governments, and human rights organizations to address the critical yet often overlooked struggles of the boy child.
While efforts to empower the girl child have made historic progress, boys around the world continue to suffer in silence—facing emotional neglect, mental health breakdowns, social pressure, academic decline, gender-based stereotyping, and rising involvement in violence or suicide. Across every continent, millions of boys grow up discouraged from expressing their feelings, deprived of mentorship, and ignored by policies that only see them as “future men”—not as children in need of care today.
Without targeted intervention, these young boys face higher rates of suicide, abusive act, school dropout, substance abuse, and involvement in crime. Their pain is real; their potential is vast—if only the world will listen.
What We’re Asking For
We call upon:
- United Nations bodies (UN, UNICEF, UN Women, WHO)
- All States Presidents
- Regional and national governments
Ministries of Education, Youth, Health & Gender - International NGOs & civil‑society coalitions.
to adopt and fund a “Boy Child Agenda” that includes:
- Policy Inclusion: Embed the needs of boys into all gender‑equality and youth‑development frameworks.
- Dedicated Funding: Allocate resources to community programs—like The Boys Code Uplifting Program—that mentor, counsel, and empower boys.
- International Boy Child Awareness Day: Officially designate and promote an annual day to highlight the boy child’s rights and challenges.
- Mental Health Support: Provide school‑based counselors and safe spaces for boys to express emotions and seek help.
- Positive Masculinity & GBV Prevention: Launch global campaigns that teach boys respect, consent, and non‑violent communication.
- Mentorship Networks: Support fatherhood initiatives and professional mentoring schemes to guide boys through adolescence.
Our Goal
To gather 25,000 signatures from around the world—parents, teachers, youth leaders, and concerned citizens—so we can deliver an unignorable, united message to global decision‑makers: “Boys child deserve advocacy too.”

Thank you for helping us create a world where every child—girl and boy—can thrive.
✍️ Petition Declaration:
We, as supporters of The Boys Code Uplifting Program, believe that gender equality must uplift both the girl child and the boy child. Boys are not enemies of equality; they are part of the solution. But first, they need to be heard, healed, and helped. We stand for boys who feel unseen. We call on world leaders to prioritize their future. We call on YOU to stand with us.
