If you were on Xbox Live way back when, you knew about Battlefield 1943. It quickly became the most popular arcade game on the marketplace. Everybody had it, everybody played it. When we wanted a quick pick me up game of BF, we went to BF1943. Sadly, console generations come and go, leaving valuable gems behind to eventually die and be lost to gaming history forever. This is what will happen to BF1943, as it only released on 360 & PS3. The game was set to release on PC but the ongoing PC port was scrapped in 2010 to shift resources over to the development of Battlefield 3. BF1943 doesn't deserve to die off like it will. Many PC gamers were upset when it was cancelled in 2010 and felt shafted by EA. It's been 7 years now and it's time for EA to make the next step and bring a beloved Battlefield title home to PC where it belongs, where it will thrive with an active player-base and offer a new experience to gamers with the advancements in tech such as 4K resolution and 144Hz monitors. We would all love to see another great game added to the PC's vast catalog and BF1943 should be among it. Let's get it done EA.
