The City of Tshwane is one of the Capital Cities of South Africa, the second-largest municipality in Gauteng and is among the six biggest metropolitan municipalities in SA. 

How are residents of Tshwane expected to work hard, contribute to South Africa's economy and pay rates and taxes when the mayor refuses to take our city seriously? 

We demand that the DA and City of Tshwane remove Randall Williams as the Mayor of Tshwane Municipality.

Firstly, what has he done since he has been the mayor in November 2020?

The Wapadrand substation crisis shows his not fit for this role. After a brutal week of violence in our country. We also had to endure over 5 days of no electricity in one of the coldest weeks of 2021.

Every day they discover new issues with cables and it’s delaying the outcome. Why are these cables not being maintained? Are residents going to be reimbursed for loss of income and food spoilage?

Not only has Randall Williams failed to respond to the community, but it took 5 days for him to go to the substation and post a video where he said NOTHING.

The lack of communication from the city is appalling! No response to emails, tweets and Facebook comments. One-sided communication must end!

Tshwane residents deserve better than this! We require justice and action from Tshwane officials in order to begin healing the wounds (physical, mental and emotional) that these events have caused to Tshwane citizens.
