Jackie Barshak is 75 years old. She is battling stage IV lung cancer and a brain tumor. Her landlords, Alda Chan and Trung Luu, are unjustifiably suing to evict her from her home.

Jackie needs stability to survive. Her home is where she manages her care, rests between treatments, and practices the daily routines that keep her alive. Research consistently shows that housing instability worsens health outcomes for elderly cancer patients — eviction doesn't just displace someone like Jackie, it puts her life in danger.
