3ª Ola de calor: Seguimos sin sombra / 3rd Heatwave: We still have no shade

Gracias de corazón por vuestro apoyo al firmar esta petición.

Queremos agradecer al Ayuntamiento de Calvià las nuevas pasarelas de madera instaladas este mes de julio en la playa de Santa Ponça. 

Es un paso importante para la accesibilidad 🙏

Pero el problema principal sigue sin solucionarse.

Como podéis ver en la foto, tomada hoy a las 11:00h, las sombrillas actuales no ofrecen suficiente sombra para las personas con movilidad reducida. Con las temperaturas que estamos sufriendo en esta tercera ola de calor, esto supone un riesgo real para la salud.

Por eso volvemos a solicitar con urgencia la instalación de pérgolas de sombra fijas que sustituyan a las sombrillas actuales. 

Es un paso, pero aún queda mucho por hacer para que todas las personas podamos disfrutar de la playa en igualdad y seguridad.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your support in signing this petition.

We would like to thank the *Calvià Town Council* for the new wooden boardwalks installed this July on Santa Ponça beach.

This is an important step towards accessibility 🙏

But the main problem remains unsolved.

As you can see in the photo, taken today at 11:00 a.m. the current umbrellas do not provide enough shade for people with reduced mobility. With the temperatures we are experiencing during this third heatwave, this poses a real risk to health.

That is why we are once again urgently requesting the installation of *fixed shade pergolas* to replace the current umbrellas.

This is a step forward, but there is still much to be done so that everyone can enjoy the beach with equality and safety.
