We insist on having a voice in the decisions EHL takes independently from the authorities. All universities in Canton de Vaud are maintaining online classes with replays until at least the end of the semester. Why should EHL be any different? We are clearly not heard on our preferences which is definitely not a part of the so advocated "EHL Values". With such high tuition fees, it is essential that management takes into consideration our opinion. The arguments given by the administration for the discontinuation of online classes are quite laughable. The first one being that online courses lead to procrastination, which is not accurate since the courses aren't recorded and thus not replayable. Moreover, they say that it "kills the privilege of vaccinated students", it is not clear how the continuation of online classes impacts them. Last but not least, we are still in a pandemic and cases are rising in every nation globally including the highly vaccinated ones.
