Deniliquin is becoming a place filled with rubbish!

There is rubbish along Wood Street, Hardinge Street and Henry Street and these are just a small sample of streets where there is a problem.

There is rubbish in the lakes, there is rubbish in the Parks, there is rubbish in the Edward River, there is rubbish in garden beds across from the Crossing Cafe, there is rubbish around the ruins of the railway station and it never seems to go away.

We would also like to see the land beside the rail tracks properly maintained by line leasers V/Line as the ruins of the Railway Station and Goods Platforms are an eyesore as well as the long periods of time between grass and weed cuttings beside the tracks.

We need more bins, more clean up crews, Opportunities of Cash for Cans, the opportunity to educate school kids on Cash for Cans and environmental issues as well as investigating recycling and so much more.

Deniliquin is known for being a place of big events, don't make it known for being the place for rubbish to be all around.
