Në luftën me Covid-19 në të cilën jemi përfshirë secili prej nesh në mënyrën e tij/saj, familjet që po e vuajnë më shumë janë ato që kanë jetuar përmes punës informale. Kjo fatkeqësi e degradoi gjendjen ekonomike të këtyre kategorive shoqërore në kushtet e mbijetesës, aq sa shumë prej tyre po vuajnë për bukën e gojës. Gjendja e tyre aktuale ekonomike është aq e vështirë sa edhe rikthimi në normalitet, me përfundimin e situatës së emergjencës natyrore vështirë që ti shpëtoj nga varfëria pa u siguruar mbështetjen e nevojshme.

Përmes këtij peticioni drejtuar kryeministrit të Shqipërisë z. Edi Rama, organizatat Lëvizja Rinore Egjiptiane Rome, Qendra Për Aksion Komunitar, Për Advokim Social, Fuqizim dhe Organizim Komunitar dhe T'Reja, kërkojmë që pas përfundimit të gjendjes së fatkeqësisë natyrore duhet të planifikohet e miratohet nga qeveria e Shqipërisë një paketë e rimëkëmbjes ekonomike në të cilën të përfshihen këto kategori shoqërore:

1) Profesionistët e vetëpunësuar informal (hidraulikë, elektriçistë, bojaxhinjë, muratorë, saldatorë etj)

2) Individë që punojnë në punë informale si riciklimi, shitja e rrobave të përdorura etj

3) Shitës ambulantë

Kërkojmë që kjo paketë në mënyrë që të shërbejë vërtetë për rimëkëmbjen ekonomike të këtyre kategorive shoqërore duhet të përfshijë kërkesat e mëposhtme:

a) Formalizimin e punës informale.

b) Mbështetjen përmes granteve të drejtpërdrejta.

c) Mbështetjen përmes ndihmës financiare dhe aftësimit për riorientimin e profilit të punës në përputhje me tregun e punës post-Covid.

During the fight against the spread of pandemic Covid-19 in which each of us is involved, the families that are suffering the most are those who made their living through informal work. The public health emergency degraded their economic situation in a way that many of them could not secure food. Their current economic situation is dire while they will face a prolong economic crisis and sharp poverty during post COVID19 era if the government will not provide the necessary support.

Through this petition addressed to the Prime Minister of Albania, Mr. Edi Rama, Roma and Egyptian Youth Movement, Center for Community Action, Center for Social Advocacy, Center for Empowerment and Community Organization and T’REJA Center, demand that after the completion of the state of natural disaster, the government should approve an economic recovery package that includes the following social categories:

1) Informal self-employed professionals (plumbers, electricians, painters, masons, welders, etc.)

2) Individuals who work in informal jobs such as recycling, selling used clothes, etc.

3) Street vendors

We demand that this package in order to truly serve the economic recovery of these social categories should include the following requirements:

a) Proportional measures to help in formalizing the informal work

b) Support through direct grants to affected individuals/informal workers and their business

c) Support through financial assistance and capacity enhancement for reorientation of their work/business profile in accordance with the post-Covid19 labor market dynamics.
