Jim Carrey’s BELOVED character Stanley Ipkiss - also known as The Mask, a mischief loving antihero whose antics often harken back to those of cartoon characters such as bugs bunny or Tom, has yet to be represented in ANY Netherrealm game to date. This is despite the fact that he is almost a perfect fit for the games’ atmosphere, and a shoe-in for a series staple, adding dlc characters from classic films. Eagle eyed fans of Mortal Kombat will remember when Predator, the Xenomorph alien, Jason from the Friday 13th, and Freddy Kreuger were once playable additions to the MK Roster. Why has The Mask not had his time in the spotlight yet? He already has demonstrated so many easily translatable moves and a slew of wonderful and colorful costumes in his classic instant hit breakout film “The Mask.” If Netherrealm studios does not put The Mask in the new MK11 DLC pack or at LEAST an unexpected Injustice 2 DLC or in MK12 or Injustice 3, I will murder my entire family and then myself. You can prevent this. Please do the right thing.
