Many Battlefield 2042 players were welcomed with an early new years gift in the form of a false-positive ban, mostly in December 2021. Resulting in many losing their hard earned cash, progress in the game, trust in EA and most importantly time. This petition's sole purpose is to raise awareness within the community as well as Electronic Arts in hopes for a reasonable and decisive solution with transparency.

   Since the disputes people have formed were returned in bot-generated emails, victims of false-positive bans were forced to get their voices heard in other mediums such as Twitter, EA Forums and YouTube. This justice will certainly help EA to redeem itself in the eyes of honest paying customers. Knowing we are being heard and treated as such will only do good in such hard times Battlefield 2042 is having since it's launch.

   The false-positive bans are commonly thought to be caused by peripheral programs such as Logitech's GHUB, Corsair's iCUE and treated as the most extreme version of cheating resulting in a permanent ban and never a timed one. Not a warning is being sent from EA beforehand nor any information is being shared within the only communication the victim has, the ticket answers in form of emails.

   So EA, we just need you to take control in your hands and treat each case with the possibility of the victim being innocent because an automated ban-wave, taking only the Easy Anti Cheat's result into account is just unfair. It happened in the past with Punkbuster in BF3 times and other titles as well and it's happening again. Please take this petition as not an adversary but as an opportunity to let us know you care about your honest paying customers.
