From Giffnock With Thanks

Dear Supporter of Huntly Park,

I wanted to thank you on behalf of users of Huntly Park for supporting our petition.  It relates to a park in Giffnock here on the southside of Glasgow (the Dear Green Place).  It's not the biggest park.  Some might say it isn't the best park.  But it is our park and we care for it and will protect it.

We now have over 1000 signatories.  That will grow.  But this isn't about impressing anyone; this is about petitioning for action and achieving results.

We want East Renfrewshire Council to secure Fields in Trust status for our park.  We will be very happy if our local campaign inspires others to do the same for their dear green places.
