Community Empowerment

Dear Supporter,

Thank you for answering our community's call.  We here in Giffnock and Thornliebank are tired of negativity which comes from outside our area.  We are tired of impotent attempts to belittle our community opinion.  This petition is a sign of what is to come: community empowerment.  We place emphasis on kindness and courage.  Not cynicism and fear.

We are fighting for a park.  I think we will win that.  We are also fighting for change in attitudes to community concerns.  You know what?  I think we will win that too.
