We urge East Ayrshire Council to object to the licencing of the puppy mill that's to be established at New Intax Farm. Rescue and rehoming organisations all over Scotland are already highly exhausted due to the number of unwanted dogs, so there really is no need to add to the problem that we already have. This will only encourage unhealthy and under socialised puppies to be bought by the unsuspecting buyer. We really have to start working towards a better animal welfare system in Scotland and unfortunately this would do much the opposite.
