Easier Access for People with Autism to break into the industry

The Issue

What I learned about being a screenwriter who has Autism, trying to break into the film and TV industries is more then a struggle more then for me, but for other Autistic screenwriters who are impacted by this. Screenwriters like myself are frusterated by the fact we can't find an easier way to break into the film and TV industries as screenwriters, due to competition in the industry, other people want the same thing of being a screenwriter.

What this means to Autistic people like us trying to break into the film and TV industry, it's hard to connect with an agent/manager to help us out. Meaningly it's a struggle to find the right people who understand our problem. What is at stake is that people like me can't explain to people in the industry about our condition. Sometimes we need to have some help into connecting with the right people who are already in the film/TV industry to guide us into the industry to expose and recgonize our stories to make the film/TV industries better into exploring new stories.

The time to act is now. Autistic screenwriters, like myself need to have a voice into making things easier to break into the film and TV industries. Like connecting with the right agents/managers who take unsolicted materials to them, or focusing on agents/managers who focus on major genres that Autistic screenwriters are focused on. And if the agents/managers can help us, they can also help us negotiate with the TV/film executives on their scripts, on how to present them or improve on them to make it easier to greenlit the scripts.  It's time for making things easier for Autistic writers to break into the TV/Film industry and it starts now.
