Finally, some honesty. Read the article below and see where Mr. Bill Evans, former chair of the Beaufort County School Board admits to withholding Dr. Moss' request about hiring his wife from the rest of the school board. He also goes on to say that he wishes Dr. Moss had not changed the nepotism policy without the board's knowledge. Here is the quote "And on Monday, he repeated his regret for not telling his fellow board members that Moss' wife was interested in a district job. He added that he wished Jeff Moss has told the school board when he changed the nepotism rule." Sometimes, vindication comes, but far too late. It is too bad the school board won't take action on this issue, so we are forced to begin to replace school board members, one by one, through the election process.
