If you know Battleforge, you know that it is a great game, and you may also be someone who spent a lot of money on this game. Now EA wants to close it down. I guess because the profit they make with it is rather low.

One more time EA showed how they treat their paying costumers, because we do not have to expect a refund or anything else.

The costs for running one game server are rather low but still they are not up to re-think what they considered to be the best solution. They could also consider another system of getting some money out of this game (season pass, abonnement etc.)

Another option would be that they would give us the opportunity to create or host our own servers, and the community who is willing to play in the future has the ability to do so.
