After talking with a barrister last week, I was told there were grounds to prosecute with grose negligence manslaughter, however, this is extremely difficult to prove and it is fraught with difficulties. 
The main issue being the people in the house did not have ‘duty of care’ for Matthew. 
He was just visiting his girlfriend with his cousin and his friends mum. 
Legally they did not have to help! We really need this law as it disgusts me that I am having to fight for my son after his death which could possibly have been prevented. 
please help me and make it law for EVERYONE to have a duty of care in cases such as Matthews. 
This a painful uphill struggle that requires a private prosecution which would cost thousands that I do not have! If this was already a law the people involved would have been questioned by police but still the police are not responding to any of my pleas for help in this matter.
