June 24, 2015 Dear Alumni Recreation Center Members, We recently announced that Duke would no longer be able to offer alumni memberships to campus recreation facilities. Since then, we’ve heard from many alumni who have told us how much they value these memberships and asked us to reconsider. And so we have. We are pleased to let you know that we have found an alternative way to make recreation memberships available to our alumni. Beginning today, alumni will be able to renew or purchase an Alumni Recreation Membership as they have in the past. Please note that your current membership will expire on June 30, 2015. To renew your membership you will need to stop by the Duke Card Office located at 012 Telecom Building (lower level rear entrance) between the hours of 8:00 am - 6:00 pm Monday to Friday. The Duke Alumni Association remains fiercely committed to providing access and connection to your alma mater. We hope you will also explore the many other ways we keep alumni engaged with Duke, including on-campus events such as Reunions and Homecoming, networking tools such as our Duke Alumni Directory, and our Forever Learning continuing-education programs.
