LG has announced that their 2023 models will have support for DTS / DTS:X, but we have no news regarding support for the 2021/2022 models. 

2021/2022 OLED models do not support this codec and cannot passthrough DTS / DTS:X via eARC to ours AVR/soundbars.

Disney+ announced earlier this year support for IMAX enhanced, which will give us DTS:X on selected titles via their streaming service. 

This petition is created to make sure our premium OLED TVs will not be left behind by LG. Trying to make them compatible with the latest formats offered from major streaming services.

Let's see if we can get LG to respond to our petition and give us a software update for DTS DTS:X passthrough.
