Thank you for being with me in this journey by supporting and signing the petition Stop Fee Hike during Corona Crisis. From being one to more than 26k & Counting, we surely make it happen . Wish to share that I have submitted a letter to honorable HRD Minister Mr. R.P 'Nishank', requesting him to issue clear directives to all schools,boards and school education department in every state for blanket stay on fee hike for the academic year 2020-21 and schools to collect tuition fee and no other charges. Meanwhile, I was also approached by few journalists who wish to write about the fee hike . To clarify again by way this petition I am asking schools to charge tuition fee to be able to cover their cost and staff salaries and not to impose any fee hike especially when IMF (International Monetary Fund) has declared a global recession and had stated current economic state as “Humanity’s darkest hour”(click for more news). In these times I want schools to shed their profit margins and ask only what is required to run their operations smoothly. Imposing fee in the name of development charges transport or meals is not correct on parents part .
