Subject: Removal of Caste-Based Suffixes from Names and Encouraging the Adoption of Neutral Names to Remove Caste & Religious Gaps Between Humans

In a world striving for equality and unity, we must take concrete steps to eliminate caste and religious-based names.

We, the undersigned, urge the Government of India to take the following actions:

Legislate the Removal of Caste Suffixes with Immediate Effect: Enact laws that mandate the removal of caste-based suffixes from official documents and records.

Encourage Voluntary Removal and Adoption of Neutral Names: Promote awareness campaigns encouraging individuals to voluntarily drop caste-based suffixes from their names and choose names without strong religious ties as a gesture of embracing equality and unity.

Supportive Infrastructure: Provide a platform for individuals who choose to remove caste-based suffixes from their names and adopt neutral names.

Focus on Shared Humanity: Promotes the idea that individuals should be seen first as people, rather than through the lens of caste or religious labels.
