Time is of the essence... Please people, I don't often advertise for help when I need it but this is a time of desperation.  Please understand that if we had other options or had anything else to help us get him out of jail, I wouldn't be asking for help on social media. We are not asking for money, just a signature to release an innocent person from jail. He has kids, he has a family that misses him. We miss him very much and unless you have had a loved one in jail, I know it's hard to understand that sometimes innocent people do go to jail. Your signature is what we are depending on. We are at 160 signatures.. Can we get this man some attention please and just a minute of your time to sign? I want to push for 500 signatures so the court sees that other people are watching, thus making it harder to wrongfully throw Jared away.  Thank you...

As your every day average citizen, I have recently been dealing with a battle of the mind ever since a man named Jared Winer has been taken into custody. I work hard every single day with no breaks. I am a mother of two, a wife, a business owner, and now an a advocate for the case of Jared Winer and the obvious injustice. With regards to the courts time, I will make this as short and sweet as possible.

Around Febuary 16th 2023 Jared, his girlfriend and another friend had just left a friends house and was pulled over within 2 minutes of leaving that house. The officers had decided to search the car and what was found and used against Jared was not actually found on Jared. There was illegal substances and a gun that Jared is currently facing serious prision time for however, the reason I feel so terrible for Jared is because nothing he is being charged with was found on his person. As a matter of fact he was not aware of anything being in the vehicle or on any of the people he was with. He was taken into custody solely because the officers want to make an example of him and in doing so, he will be stuck in jail possibly for years. 

His girlfriend has requested body cam video footage to show the fact that she was apologizing to Jared for having a gun on her and illegal substances with him not being aware and she was asking him to not be mad at her. The police found everything that Jared has been arrested for on his girlfriend of which is also serving time. She has also made a statement to the judge admitting everything was hers and Jared had no knowledge of anything illegal in that car. 

I am not writing this claiming Jared is perfect. No one is and i know I would be lying if I said I haven't made mistakes, but would I be ok with serving time for someone else's mistakes? Absolutely not. I would assume the same for anyone reading this petition. What I am asking Honorable Rick Lambert to please take this into consideration when making your judgment. As the judge, you have the power to give justice to Jared. I have a very strong feeling you will make the right choice. His future lays in your hands, we trust what decision you should make. Jared recently has made huge improvements in his life and has decided to turn his life over to God. The conversations I have had with Jared since his incarceration have been very inspiring and uplifting to see such a change in a person and to see them really take a look at themselves and know that even though they are in this situation for something they did not do, he uses this situation to better himself. 

If I may make a suggestion that I truly beleive will be In the best interest of actually rehabilitating Jared to be a better person, please take into consideration sending him to a rehab in replacement of jail time. He has been telling me on his own that when he gets out, he would like to go straight to a rehab because he is ready to change his ways.
