It's time to make some wrong things right.

Shrek, the beloved ogre from the land of Far Far Away, has touched our childrens' hearts for generations with his endearing antics and adventures. His many complex layers make him a relatable figure to us all. He made us laugh, he made us cry, and he made us feel like we were part of something bigger than ourselves.

And yet, this beloved ogre has not received any sort of reward for his actions!

He has not won a single Nobel Peace Prize for saving Far Far Away from the evil Lord Farquad. He has not won any sort of bravery awards for his many selfless rescues of Princess Fiona. No one acknowledged his compassion in giving Donkey a home. He never even got so much as a medal for any of his heroic deeds!

This kind, loving ogre took us all into his heart, and what do we do to repay him? Nothing! This level of ungratefulness is unprecedented in human history.

So I say, in order to repay Shrek the ogre for everything he's done for us, it's time to finally give him a long overdue reward. 

Giving Shrek the ogre his very own Hollywood Walk of Fame star is not nearly enough to repay him for all his generous service, but it's the least we can do in order to preserve his memory for future generations. Shrek's legacy must live on!
