Today I took my 9 year old son to a theme park , he is a bit of a dare devil and loves fast rides , only my son is a quadruple amputee and had to have a. Assessment, he wasn’t allowed to ride any fast rides or rollercoasters, he was extremely upset and wanted to go home , I’m this day and age all theme parks should have at least 2 seats on each ride adapted for children/adults like himself with a 4 way harness which locks into place automatically then maybe a cage that also comes over the seat and locks , my son lost his limbs he is still like any other 9 year old boy there was baby’s going on some rides that he couldn’t go on , disability is real it’s not a choice but all disability’s should av the same abilities has everyone else , this is something that can and should be changed when these rides are being designed and made , some rides allow a amputee but a quadruple amputee there’s no chance of them riding these rides without a different safety system .
