Coach Shawn Laferty has been a winning coach for Springstead High School Baseball for 4 years.  He has had 60 wins and only 6 losses in that time.  More importantly, he has encouraged, inspired and motivated countless young men who have baseball as their passion.  Many parents, and students alike, wonder why he was let go without any explanation, when he was, and still is, such a positive force for Springstead High School and for so many in the Spring Hill Community.
