The Issue

Respected Madam,

We, the undersigned students and concerned members of the academic community, would like to respectfully draw your attention to the current academic schedule for students of Grades 11 and 12 who are preparing for competitive examinations.

We sincerely appreciate the efforts made by the institution to ensure academic excellence and to guide students toward success. However, we would like to gently highlight that at this stage, students also have important psychological and developmental needs. Prolonged instructional hours, often extending up to seven hours or more per day, may lead to increased stress, mental fatigue, and reduced overall learning effectiveness.

It is also important to note that success in competitive examinations depends not only on classroom teaching but significantly on self-study, independent practice, and revision. Students benefit greatly from having adequate time to process concepts, practice problem-solving, and study at their own pace.

In this regard, we humbly request you to kindly review and reconsider the current allocation of study hours, and to explore a more balanced approach that supports both academic achievement and the well-being of students.

We remain grateful for your continued support and understanding, and we hope our concerns will be considered thoughtfully.

Warm regards,

Concerned Parents
