This petition is about the DLC "BR Class 31" for the game "Train Sim World 2020" by the developer "Dovetail Games". The game content was released on 14.11.2019 for a price of 13.99€ for PC, Xbox and Playstation

Since the release of the DLC "BR Class 20 'Chopper' " on 18th June 2020, parts of the extension are no longer playable. In addition to this, the developer does not support "Train Sim World 2020" since the release of this last DLC on 18th June 2020, although they did not fix the problems of the BR Class 31.

The following contents of the DLC are currently affected:

• it breaks a key featured "Scenario" for the DLC
• it breaks a key feature internal progress counter ("Journey"); and,
• it breaks an Xbox Achievement / PS4 trophy ("Full Circle") that is specifically assigned to this Scenario, making it a permanently broken PCP feature.

In addition:

• the bug didn't previously exist until DTG introduced it with the prep for the Class 20 DLC;
• the impact of the prep for the Class 20 DLC was not put through sufficiently effective QA;
• there is strong evidence that the bug exists across all platforms;
• the reason for the bug is known; and,
• the bug is really easy to fix, with solutions being posted on DTG's own Forums. They also fixed it for "Train Sim World 2".

The list includes essential elements of the DLC. The support promised a revision in July.

Quote: "There is a known issue that related to the Class 20's introduction that has affected this scenario meaning that it is not possible to complete. The team are investigating the issue and an announcement will be made on our normal channels when the issue has been fixed."

In the live stream "Railfan TV" (20.06.2020 - speaker "Sam") the request of fans regarding the DLC and the scenario "Cement Circle" was answered. It was said that the problem will be solved for both games ("Train Sim World 2" and "Train Sim World 2020").

In general, it is often emphasized in these streams and elsewhere how important it is for Dovetail Games to be able to use the full content of their games without any problems or bugs. This means with all scenarios, the timetable mode and all achievements/trophies. This is part of their company policy.

In October, the problem for "Train Sim World 2" was solved, but an update for "Train Sim World 2020" is still missing.

When asked, the support stated that they are aware of the problem but are currently not planning any further updates for "Train Sim World 2020".

Quote: "Unfortunately, there is a known issue with the scenario Cement Circle, preventing the player from completing it. We value your feedback and please accept our apologies for any inconvenience caused. This issue has been documented and flagged for further investigation by the development team. At this time we do not have any further updates."

The DLC is currently (15.10.2020) still being sold for "Train Sim World 2020" (full price 13.99€) without any notice of errors, which is morally more than questionable. Furthermore, it is not possible to use the content in Train Sim World 2020 although it is being sold for this game. All in all, there are no signs that a fix is planned at the moment.

With this petition, you support the request to Dovetails Games to fix these problems for "Train Sim World 2020" on PC, Xbox and Playstation or to redefine the achievement/verse "CL31: Full Circle", as it already happened with other games like "Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege".

A possible reformulation of the achievement/verse would be to complete one of the three scenarios of the BR Class 31.

We ask "Dovetails Games" to help us with this patch. We have invested many hundreds of hours and with all DLCs a lot of money in this game.

We are happy to continue to support you and your work, but please stay true to your statements and company policy and fix the problems for "Train Sim World 2020" as well. We paid for this content and would like to be able to use it completely, with all scenarios, the timetable mode and all achievements/trophies in "Train Sim World 2020", not only in "Train Sim World 2".
