RESIDENTS AND BUSINESSES OF NORTHWESTERN, ONTARIO, CANADA
The Issue
Objective:
To petition the Ontario FORD government to achieve the goal of lifting/ and or stopping/ and reviewing restrictions of COVID-19 in Northwestern Ontario! Specifically the Thunder bay & area and its in person learning at school, the stay at home order and other restrictions affecting local businesses and mental health of our Geographic area. Also addressing a faster roll out of vaccines for our area.

As of Thursday January 14, 2021 @ 12:01 am. we the residents of Ontario are on yet another 28 day lock down as you are aware! This includes the Stay at home order.
We the people of Northwestern Ontario are against the restrictions and futher lockdown of Northwestern Ontario (area including White River, Ontario to the Manitoba boarder.)
1. We are STRONGLY AGAINST our students having to wear mask outside while at school. This is not healthy for our young people and or the staff of our publicly funded schools.
Furthermore, we are against wearing mask outside where we can in fact saftey social distance from other people.
2. We are against the NEW lockdown restrictions put in place by the ford government Regarding our businesses in Northwestern, Ontario
3. This is hurting our mental heath and there are not nearly enough mental health resources to deal with the COVID-19 further restrictions in Northwestern Ontario.
4. We the people of Northwestern, Ontario have had enough! We DO NOT WISH to SUFFER another lockdown put in place by the ford government! Northwestern Ontario has approximately a one percent COVID- 19 infection rate amongst our population!
5. We the people of Northwestern Ontario want a faster roll out of vaccines for our small population!
We the Residents and Businesses do NOT agree with further lockdown restrictions put in place in Northwestern, Ontario!
