WE WILL LEVERAGE THIS PETITION TO GET PREMIER DOUG FORD TO INCREASE JOB OPPORTUNITIES FOR DISABLED PEOPLE IN ONTARIO

As of 2017, there were over 645,000 disabled people in Canada who were unemployed despite being willing and able to work. The people who did manage to get a job were the first to be laid off thanks to COVID-19.

If Canada started hiring more disabled people, by 2030 we would have generated a extra 16.9 Billion Dollars in our GDP

Today's employed graduates with a disability earn less than those without and are less likely to hold management positions.

People with disabilities want to work, but society makes it difficult for them to do so... Why is that?

Employers know that a person in a wheelchair can do a desk job.
