Hello everyone, 

I am making this petition because I know that many families like mine have been waiting for months to obtain their funding for the Autism Ontario program.

My son got his diagnosis 13 days after the one-time funding the government was offering closed until the new program reform was available. We are in February 2022 and there is still no date for the implementation of the program. In the meantime, since April 1, 2021, tons of families are left on their own to finance the medical costs of their children with autism spectrum disorder and this is not normal. The government must return one-time funding if it is unable to help families pay for medical costs related to their children's disabilities. So I'm asking the Ford government to put the one-time funding back in place until the new program is available to all families in Ontario.
