I am starting this petition because Ontario, and most of Canada does not allow nursing into daycares and preschools. 

   My daughter Lennon was born with Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA) type 1 and therefore requires a nurse to preform suctioning for airway clearance and tube feeds. 

   SMA does not affect the brain. Lennon is a very bright, intelligent and social 3 year old girl. She would benefit from daycare in so many ways, social interaction, independence, learning, prep for elementary school etc. 

  All children with needs similar to Lennon’s deserve to be able to experience the social interaction and develop the life skills that daycares and preschool instil in children. Canada needs to revaluate the rules and allow nursing into daycares and preschools so that these children have this chance. 

 This is a human rights issue and inclusivity should not even be a question when it comes to daycares and preschools.
