It's hard to believe, but yes, according to a Ministry of Government and Services official, the Wynne Government maintains that more "research" is needed before ending Tarion's monopoly. To many, sadly, this sounds like nothing more than another feeble stall tactic from the Wynne Government. Meanwhile, home purchasers continue to suffer due to inadequate consumer protection.
