We have a wonderful community here next to Luke Air Force base. Unfortunately, we have recently become aware of a HUGE problem. Due to the practice of using certain products by Luke AFB (that have been known carcinogens for years) our water is contaminated.

What does this mean for our community? How much are we affected short term and long term? What are these contaminants and can and will they affect us? We want answers. Please sign this petition and demand we get them. We need our water tested and our blood levels tested. We need our wells rid of these contaminants; PFOA & PFOC’s and all other possible toxins.  

Who is responsible? We know Luke AFB has been using these fire foaming agents on base, as have other bases around the US, for years. The exact same active issue is happening now next to the AF base in New Mexico. We also know Valley Utilities Water Co. Inc., our water company, has not been sufficiently testing/filtering our water.

We need to rally! We need to sign this petition. This petition is for Luke Air Force Base, the State of Arizona, and Valley Utilities Water Co. inc. to pay for our own water testing, all our blood tests as a community, and to fix all the wells that have dangerous toxins in them. These products have been used for over 40 years with these known carcinogens (that are known as “forever chemicals”) due to their inability to naturally breakdown and pollute water. The effects will be devastating not only for us but more importantly our children.
