A week or two before the server closing announcement day 1 player and vanilla world of warcraft legend Matt was permanently banned for no reason after being told he was receiving a final warning for a mom joke. Matt was banned for saying in world chat "your mom is bugged" to someone asking if something was bugged.

He had given away thousands of gold to new and old players alike and was continuously helping the players of the server by providing answers and help with things that GM's could not.

Matt was permanently banned for a mom joke made in world chat and Nostalrius wasn't the same since. In fact it even closed within a month. Let's unban Matt and let him continue to help the vanilla world of warcraft community!
