LaVena Johnson was 19 years old when she was killed. She was found dead in her tent in Iraq in 2005. She had several injuries including loosened teeth, broken nose, bruises on her face, a gunshot wound, and burns from a chemical used to burn her genitals to hide evidence of a rape.
