Stop playing politics.  This is not a time for criticism and placing blame.  The White House presented a Coronavirus emergency funding proposal to Capitol Hill on 2-25-20.  Since then, all we have seen is obvious, deliberate, and persistent political posturing from our elected officials.  This is a time for bipartisan collaboration. The funding to fight this deadly virus MUST BE APPROVED NOW.

There are currently over 80,000 reported cases of COVID-19 Novel Coronavirus infection.  The mortality rate is over 23 times that of influenza.  This extremely contagious virus is already on US soil, and it will only continue to spread.  COVID-19 is already enough of a concern that the federal government has declared numerous quarantine sites at military bases and proposed additional sites in cities in California and Alabama.  This impending pandemic needs immediate response from the CDC and the US Government.

There is a long road ahead before infection prevention and treatment plans can be enacted throughout the country.  Funding needs to be secured and allocated immediately in order start the process.  We are calling on our leaders to come to an agreement for the protection of all Americans.
