Harley Rouda is an American attorney, businessman, and politician known for serving as the U.S. Representative for California's 48th congressional district from 2019 to 2021. Before beginning his political career, he worked in the real estate industry for many years, serving at various times as CEO, President, and Chairman of the real estate firm HER, Inc. Rouda, who is affiliated with the Democratic Party, has advocated for progressive policies such as universal healthcare, environmental conservation and protecting LGBTQ+ rights.
