as we all know, there is an opiod crisis.   As a result, there have been cutbacks on prescriptions for chronic pain patients, and some are committing suicide.  I had a spinal fusion 2 years ago, and came out of the operation with NO pain meds on board.  they said "they hadn't been authorized yet"   so, they KNEW I was having surgery, why wouldn't they arrange for pain control?   I have seen chronic pain facebook groups, and it's overwhelming the amount of people who are suffering.
