NH’s vaccine distribution plan has gone rogue.

  Grocery workers, once hailed as heroes, have been kicked to the curb. Restaurant employees, working in places where masks are NOT required, have been quietly banished.

  While many essential workers were vaccinated in Phase 1, thousands more were left behind. We are the unessential essential workers. Rather than vaccinate us in Phase 2, however, the state has changed course and moved to an “age-based” vaccine plan- which lands most food service workers at the end of the line.

  Governor Sununu: Stop ignoring CDC guidelines. The age approach to vaccine distribution is reckless, and it violates the states pledge to distribute vaccine in a fair and equitable manner. Age is not the only risk factor associated with this virus.

  When Ski Patrol called, you answered- adding their workers to the vaccine schedule, stating the following:

   “It's making sure that those that are most vulnerable, that those at the highest risk, get to go first. That, frankly, is only fair, and that's what managing this crisis is all about.”

  Restaurant and grocery workers are also vulnerable. Your unwillingness to recognize this is discriminatory and irresponsible. It compromises our safety, and the safety of our families, co-workers, and our communities.
