The Issue

The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) has released a 400-page report condemning gender-affirming care for transgender youth. Its authors are anonymous, its conclusions contradict the medical consensus, and its very purpose appears politically motivated.

This report must not be used to justify new laws, regulations, or policies that harm transgender youth or restrict access to medically necessary care.

Major medical associations, including the American Academy of Pediatrics, have denounced the report as misleading and dangerous. Yet, anti-trans lawmakers are already seizing on it to push bans and roll back existing protections.

We cannot allow a politically-driven, anonymously authored document to shape public health policy. Trans youth deserve evidence-based care and protection—not targeted discrimination disguised as science.

We demand that lawmakers and government agencies refuse to use this report to justify any legislation or regulatory action against transgender youth. Reject it. Disregard it. Protect kids.
