⏳ 5 DAYS LEFT: Please write to Richmond Council tonight!

Dear Neighbours,

We know it’s the weekend, but our community petition is still growing rapidly with another 230 signatures this week.

We have officially reached 3,870 signatures !

⏱️Bur the clock is ticking faster than ever.

🗓️ We have exactly 5 days left before the Richmond Council planning portal for this application closes for good on Thursday, 27th August.

✍️If you have signed the petition but haven't left your formal comment directly on the council's page yet, please take three minutes to do it right now.

‼️Leaving a direct comment on the council website is the only way to make your objection legally count.

To make things as simple as possible, here is how you can help us secure our neighbourhood tonight:

1. Submit Your Direct Objection Now

Click the link at the bottom of this email, select "Object," and list the everyday issues that worry your household in your own words. You don't need to be a planning expert - the council is legally forced to log objections based on these plain facts:

  • Shattering our quiet weekends: 15 massive music events mean our peaceful summer nights and homes will be replaced by loud stadium sound-checks, heavy bass thumping, and shouting crowds.
  • Choked by toxic traffic fumes: Gridlocked roads leave thousands of car engines idling right outside our front doors, forcing neighbours to close their windows on hot summer nights.
Ambulances blocked in gridlock: Total road paralysis means emergency vehicles and ambulances will struggle to get through traffic blocks to reach local families or get to West Middlesex Hospital.
  • Overcrowded and delayed trains: Dumping 75,000 music fans onto our small single-line railway network completely overwhelms the service, causing severe delays and packed, dangerous platforms.
  • Late-night anti-social behaviour: Having thousands of drinking fans pouring onto our streets past 10:30 PM leads to predictable street drinking, loud shouting, littering, and anti social behaviour long after the stewards have gone home

2. Give the Petition a Huge Boost Tonight

Once you have submitted your comment, we need to push our numbers past the 4,000-signature mark before Monday morning.

🙏🏻 Please take two minutes to give our campaign a vital boost:

✅Forward this email to five neighbours on your street who haven't signed yet.
✅Share the petition link directly into your local WhatsApp groups, street chats, and Facebook pages.
✅Talk to your immediate neighbours and make sure everyone in your household over 18 has logged their own independent objection.
✅If you can, make a small financial contribution and boost the petition to ensure it lands on more phone screens in our area.

Our area has hit its absolute physical limit, and the council needs to hear our collective voice before the deadline passes. Let’s work together to protect our homes, our families, and our peace.

Thank you for your incredible support.

Let's make this final push count!

Best wishes,

Amanda Bail
