Been working tirelessly behind the scenes - and many advocates to thank - but guys -

HERE IS X’MAS!!! WRAPPED IN GOOD NEWS!

Last week I spoke to some senior folks at State Dept and told them that as soon as we hit 250k signatures - we were coming to DC to hand deliver petition in Feb.  We would have our documentary crew filming and my many friends in media who had kindly agreed to cover the petition delivery in DC. Some of you had volunteered to join me in DC.

Yesterday, our State Dept came through!!!

So, Thank you State Dept!

Thank you, the three Senators who were such advocates and picked up my calls day and night when I had an update from a different source!

Thank you, whistle blower (keeping her anonymous for her privacy)!

Thank you the many other advocates who orchestrated this behind the scenes!

Thank you, each one of you, for signing my petition and writing to your Senators and Congress peeps.

Thank you Change.Org for giving me the platform to raise a quarter million voices - our voices have been heard!

And Thank you veterans - human and K-9s alike - for your service!

***The program has been stopped!*** yes, its a temp halt - but word is - EVERY dog deployed is being assessed and will be brought back (no questions asked) if any abuse is found. Meantime, the program is on halt while they re-assess it. So, at least our puppers are safe now! 

And yes - I will keep following up on it and updating so not closing the petition just yet!

Joy to the world.... I am SOOOO happy this X’Mas! Merry, merry! We saved our doggies:-)
