Glimmer of hope on the horizon...

Hi guys: Since the State Dept is apparently useless at Communications - a couple of terrific Senators have promised to look sincerely into this.

A fantastic animal advocacy group also reached out to me and are working on diplomatic channels now.

Also today I spoke with an amazing military officer who is a Medal of Freedom recipient and also an expert. Learned that our dogs have ranks - one up from their handler. So cool! He is going to take this to the powers that be in the Army and see if they will help! So... trying it all.

In short - I finally see a small glimmer of hope. What I AM learning is that DC is soooo sllooowww! How do they get ANYTHING done?

Anyway, hope to have more concrete answers soon. Meanwhile, we're at a quarter million supporters - so THANK YOU for loving and supporting our military and working dogs! This update is dedicated to the love of my life - Katie - that's her in the photo. Talk to ya'll soon...
