In a recent news article Sudbury Engineering Director David Shelsted stated the citys singlemost carbon source is from cars, accounting for 32% of carbon emissions.  The city also previously stated it wants to be carbon neutral by 2030.  How do they expect to do this when they dont help people get out of their large polluters and get to work or grocery store safely.  We certainly cant get on a bike mid January and safely go to work with 8 foot high snow piles ontop of bike lanes then be expected to share the road with 1000s of people in machines they cant even control in bad weather conditions.  To curb the biggest source of pollution WE NEED ALTERNATIVES THAT ARE SAFE!!!!
