Latest update from a Chester County Official:

Norfolk Southern and PennDOT have signed the transfer papers for the P&T corridor. It will take about another month for them to go through final PennDOT/PA approvals and be recorded and transfer considered final.

PennDOT is already preparing to repair the netting as soon as they can after ownership transfer is finalized.  County will have access to the bridge.

I don’t � believe this means the bridge will repurposed or fixed up. Once ownership officially transfers, we need to put pressure on Chester County officials! Keep sharing please. I wait in fear for another person to take their life on this dangerous, ugly, and useless bridge to nowhere.
