Star Trek Starfleet Academy was poorly written, poorly executed and divisive.  It drew almost no interest from viewers and drove away fans.  It damaged the reputation of Star Trek and undermined decades of the progressive vision of the IP.

Considering the negative effect that this show has had on a globally-loved franchise, it is vital that it is not renewed - but replaced by a show that reflects the actual ethos of Star Trek.
