Do not eliminate the current Military Pension Program

Do not eliminate the current Military Pension Program

The Issue

The 401K proposal should be altered so that current military are able to get their hard earned pension after 20 years of service per the current program.  Newly enlisted members can then be signed under the new 401K program.

Even making changes which would allow current military to select the current 20 year program with 50% of their pay or allowing them to be under the new 401K plan would be acceptable.

Serious changes need to be made before this proposal is sent through the channels which would make it law.
