Jim Webb

Jim Webb is an American politician and author who is best known for his tenure as a senator from Virginia from 2007-2013. He also served as Secretary of the Navy under President Ronald Reagan. He is a member of the Democratic party, although he has been known for his moderate stances on many controversial issues. Prior to his political career, Webb was a decorated marine who fought in the Vietnam War. Post-politics, he has established himself as a successful author, writing numerous novels, many of which are centered around military themes.
