On November 8th, 2016, this nation saw a culimination of years of voter disenfranchisement come to fruition. 

This election has been indicative of a particular sentiment: American citizens no longer want the status quo.

Bernie Sanders recognized this, and built his platform around it.

He ran the most influential and powerful progressive campaign that this country has seen in decades.

The DNC leadership failed to recognize this, and there is even evidence they actively worked against the Bernie Sanders campaign.

This resulted in an epic failure. 

We not only lost the presidential election, but we also failed to gain a majority in both the House and Senate.

However, there is still hope. We can take back the Senate and House in 2018 if we have party leaders in place who will energize the voting base again. 

Tell the Democratic National Committee that we need real leadership; tell them we need Keith Ellison as DNC Chair. 

We also need Tulsi Gabbard and Nina Turner in leadership positions in the DNC.

Anything less will results in even greater voter fallout, and the empowerment of Trumpism. 

It's time for a stand.
